Hi All,
I need a new throttle trigger for my 090av. I have an IPL but it seems my model is different to the ones in it.
Mine doesn't have the interlock.
If anyone can help with the part number or correct IPL it would be much appreciated. I need to get it repaired asap to finish milling log I started.
Picture is what's left of the trigger and the handle.
The serial number is 8393032 and my local Stihl shop says it doesn't show anything for that number.

The early Stihl 070/090 saws share lots of parts with Stihl Contra Lightning saws, it would appear your saw has the same throttle trigger as a Contra.
@NewToStihl might know the part number?

Yep, lots of similar parts shared. Not sure if this helps, but I too needed to replace both throttle triggers on my 2 Contra's. Couldn't find the correct version, so ended up modifying the 1106 182 1006 throttle to match the original 1006 180 1500. It's not perfect but works. The throttle lock doesn't engage when bottom pushed all the way in, but pushed in just a bit it does engage correctly.

Thanks guys. Anyone have any idea of age?
1106 180 1506?
About all I can find during a quick flick through the old service and parts manuals I have here.
That's the number myself and the Stihl shop got but it is a different trigger.

That's exactly it. Do you have the part number?

If I can't get get the same one this is what I was thinking of doing.

Thanks to your replies it looks like the original part (1106 180 1500) has been replaced by 1106 180 1506. This is the one I was going to order anyway so fingers crossed.

EDIT - Maybe not. the trigger part number 11061801500 is different to mine. The photo that scallywag posted is the same as mine. Anyone know the part number for that one?
