Hello all,
I have an old chipper (I believe it's a wood chuck) It has a Chrysler 318 Motor in it. The question I have is how the throw out bearing assembly works. I have disassembled it and it seems the sleeve with the bearing on it that disengages the clutch is too tight in the housing... am I missing something? I know my bearing that goes against the clutch release (fingers) is trashed and I need a new one. How easy should it be for these shaft to slide in and out of the pulley assembly?
