Homelite XL-924 chain and bar

I recently purchased a Homelite XL-924 and I am looking to get a 30 inch + bar and chain

Does anyone know who makes these?
where can I find them ?
specs on bar and chain?
Can they take the same bar as the 922,923 or 925 ?

I think same as 922 series.
i dont think any makes long bars for Homelite anymore.
may be able to mod a Husqvarna bar to fit?

Your looking for either a d096 or d196. But a d009 could be modified it’s only .5mm off in the bar slot and I’m sure the oiler holes would need adjustment.

Seems like Oregon might have a very close match. Are you sure you need a full 30" bar? Regardless, I really cannot blame bar MFGs for no longer carrying bars for a saw that was discontinued in 1972. Just MHO.
