HS56C value

Been perusing local classifieds for a cheap hedge trimmer (got a good amount of bush footage to maintain)

24" HS56C popped up. Ad says it starts and runs well but blades don't turn. I'm assuming it needs a new spur gear but have limited experience with hedge trimmers. Any other possibilities? These seem pretty simple in operation. Where would you place a value on something like this?

To follow up. I ended up buying it for $100. Suspected damge to the spur gear but everything looked perfect inside. Upon inspection of the blades the P.O. had grabbed up a chunk of metal wire, fencing or something similar, and managed to bend one of the cutters. A little gentle metal messaging and she runs - and cuts - like a top. It's nice to win one once in a while
