husky 350 gas leak

I have a Husky 350 chainsaw.
When I have it laying on it's side to fill the fuel and oil ..the fuel leaks out..but when it stands up normal no leak.
Is the a diagram to help see where to start looking ..'

Leaking out the tank vent on top of the tank.

Yes, some Husqvarna saws have a long tube going crossways in the tank. That's the tank vent. I guess if you have the tank fairly full and turn it on it's side it might leak.

I had the same problem on a 350 this summer. Fuel tank vent. You need both of these parts installed correctly.

Also... it could be the fuel line leaking where it goes into the tank. Old original fuel lines kinda shrink from compression in that area and can allow fuel to seep/leak past. Possible the line may also be cracked in that area too.

No diagram.
But it comes out of the tank and up through the hole in the right rear corner of the carb box. Up over the air filter mount a/v leg and down onto the carb
