so iam rebuilding my first 42 and am looking for a solution for the pto side bearing. From what ive read is the original 543301A is NLA. Has anyone found a replacement? And would it have to be 12mm wide? skf has 10mm wide 6201 available with the seal on one side, just not sure if the seal would be up to spec with oem. the housing is only 10mm wide, not sure the reason for 12mm bearing.
Thoughts or your experience with this?

Your right.the12mm bearing is nla.its 12mm bc the seal fits inside it.the seal is still avalible i think.a sealed 10 mm bearing doesnt work bc it wont hold a vacum ime.
Use the old bearing if its ok.i go through old carcases and find the odd good one.

That’s what iam thinking right now, that side looks decent, the flywhyside doesn’t look to great but that one I can still get new.
