Husky 460 chain tension

Husqvarna 460 Rancher is on its second or maybe third chain. Chain has only been sharpened a few times, but the tension adjuster is all the way out and chain is still not tight enough. I have never before had to shorten a chain. Usually I hit enough rocks that they get sharpened away before they stretch that much....looks like two links have to go at once, and I am not sure that will not make the chain too short.
What am I missing?

Take it to a dealer. They will likely do it for nearly free and do it right.
