My dad's Husqvarna 136 will start, but it will not stay running. If I leave it in idle with the choke engaged, it will run for about 10 seconds then cut out. If I start it and try to throttle up, it kills immediately.

This is what I have done so far:

Emptied fuel tank and replaced with freshly mixed gas
Replaced Air Filter
Replaced Spark Plug
Inspected and cleaned spark arrestor
Replaced Fuel Filter
Reset carb, all 3 screws lightly seated (clockwise) then each turned counter clockwise 1 1/4 turn.

Any suggestions? Thanks for your time.

If the plug is dry after it stalls out, your running out of fuel Likely you have a leak somewhere or maybe the tank vent is clogged and stopping fuel draw.

These were heavily poulan influenced, id inspect the fuel line and rebuild the carb

Great suggestions and a great video. I ordered a new impulse pipe and gaskets. I'll let you know how the repair goes after they arrive. Thanks!
