Hi Guys,
I bought a couple of saws from someone and one of them is a Husky 435. It was dirty but after a good clean it seems to be in very good and clean condition. I went through everything to make sure it was ok. I removed the muffler and checked the piston which was perfect, all the fuel lines and fuel filter are clean and in working order. I even put a new spark plug in.
I then spent the next 45 minutes trying to start it.... With the choke on it pops, and then i flick off the choke and it will start and run, but if you even look like touching the throttle it just stops. If you try and start it again after that you can pull the cord until you arm falls off and nothing happens, maybe u might get a pop " sometimes". But if you again use the choke it will pop, flick it off and pull it again it will start and run, but eventually just die down and stop. I did this almost 10 times before I STOPPED.
I did a compression test before I closed the shed up for the night and it was at 145psi.
Any idea's ?
Justin
