That’s half of it. You’d need to remove the carb to inspect and clean that sideJust opened the carb. Impressed with how well laid out that thing is, by the way. Open the top shell, one electronic clip, then four small phillips screws to access the carb diaphragm.
Needle valve and associated assembly is free and clean (as one would hope on a new saw). Diaphragm is perfect. Assembly in reverse, purge a few times, starts up fine. For now.
