If your chain is either long or short for the bar, depending on where the bars oiler hole is it may not line up with the slot
 
Looking for a hack for repairing a fuel tank vent on a 2100CD. It looks like the grommet is goo.

Are these still available or is it a “make your own” deal?
 
Can you folks possibly tell me what prices are running for good 266's nowadays? Ive got a good clean one here with a full wrap that I'm thinking about selling. Needs a new chain brake band and the muffler is missing the bolt on deflector. It's pretty loud without that deflector! Runs pretty good though.

Does anyone know any alternative part numbers for the o-ring that’s on the automatic oiler on a 2100CD? The IPL on Saw Again has it listed as 297 04 70-02. Has anyone measured these? Possibly they are a common o-ring ?
 
Piston is scored up pretty good on my newest acquisition.

I pulled the top end to replace the piston and rings and remove the small amount of transfer and put new seals in.

Are the ports on a 2100CD typically beveled or has someone done some modifications?
