In our area the "big box" dealers want to sell their units only the way they are set up in the store. All of the SAW SHOPS around will set your saw up with whatever B&C and accessories you want!

That stinks, I hope my dealer will let me do the .375/.050/18 on a 261.

I put a 20 inch .375/0.050 on the 261. Pulls fine.

It does, also have a 28 es light for it.

I got my 462 with a 25” but soon put my 28” on it. It runs the 28” with authority!

Perfect bar for a 462 in hardwoods.

All trees I cut are hardwood. My set up of choice for my 500i is a 25" bar with an 8 pin. A few times falling, I would have liked a longer bar. Haven't yet encountered a situation where I wanted a shorter one on it. To each his own.

i bet its fun to run it with a short bar...i bought jred cs2188 and it came with a 24" bar i havent ran that small bar on ther but im sure it would be way overpowered and really fun to let it eat through anything
