Personally i dont see the benefit hence why i dont bother. It certainly looks impressive.

Agreed. Takes little time though. Especially on something like the intake where you would only take it down to 80 or 120 grit.

So I apologize, I didn't see all your guys post. don't know why I didn't get alerts. anyway long story short I had some things come up in life and had to step away from the saws. in fact both this one and the 670 are still setting where I left them after they were built. neither one had even had fuel put in them. I was hoping I was going to get to start back up on them this late summer but that did not work out. I would like to thank you gents for the comments though and I promise I will let you know how they turn out.
