Today while cutting a few logs, my Jonsered 451 sputtered and died when I put it on the ground for a minute to idle. I noticed fuel was spilling out when I turned it on its side. it wouldn't restart and bucked a couple times when I was pulling on the starter rope. I took out the sparkplug and it was wet; turned the saw upside down and more gas came out (not sure if it was in the cylinder or had collected elsewhere in the case). Though the saw was off, it was making a strange bubbling / ticking sound. So I'm guessing pressure built up in the fuel tank and overwhelmed the needle/seat and flooded the engine.
In first photo, I assume the fuel vent hose is the one in the lower right. But tracing it further (2nd photo), it vanishes under the cylinder head.
=> is this the vent hose?
=> should I try to remove the end I can see and blow compressed air through it?
