Well I’ve had an old jonsered, my first saw in bits, for about 15 years in fact it was a donor for my 52e. Anyway bought another spare or repair 49sp to resurrect the old girl. No spark cleaned and reset the points and I have spark! Someone had cut the ht lead about 4” above the module …I gave it a slight tug and the lead popped out from the module. It does work but I need to exten the lead and sort a permanent connection to the module. Unfortunately I think the module and lead are not independent.
