Hi Ernie. I am not a hundred percent sure but I think a 272xp piston and cylinder should work on the 670.

If the 670 had a impulse line you may need to make some minor modifications. Nothing that hasn't been done though. I think the 272 uses a impulse threw the intake manifold. And double check the bore is the same or you will need the piston to match. Cantdog would now for sure.
