I'm going to help a elderly friend of my tune his saw (yeh, I know, blind leading the blind). I didn't have any tools in my truck, but he thought the carb adjustment screws were Torx heads. Is that correct? I don't have a Torx screwdriver to slip into the cover hole, so I'll have to take the cover off to get to the carb screws. Are the cover screws Torx also (I didn't have my glasses with me)? Also, what's a good starting point for the H/L screws? One turn from bottoming out?
Thanks

I've been doing some on-line searching and it looks like it takes a special tool to adjust a Jonsered carb. Like a nut driver only splined on the inside. Is that correct?

Yes special tool used only for carbs on power equipmen, might find one on eBay?

Thanks. I'm going over to the neighbor today to 'help' out with his saw. I wanted to be prepared and take tools with me. I don't have that special tool since Stihls only take a slotted screw driver.
