I'm selling this Jonsereds 920 power head only, for $150 plus shipping.
There are positives and negatives with this saw. Might as well just list them one at a time.
Positives:
1) Piston and cylinder look nice and compression feels good when I crank it over.
2) Has extremely strong and consistent spark.
3) Air filter is in excellent condition. Flocking material is nice, no bare spots worn through.
4) Rear bottom motor mounts on rear handle look excellent.
5) Top handle and rear handle are in nice condition.
6) Trigger group/palm grip safety work as they should.
7) Clutch, oil pump, carburetor, flywheel, recoil starter, fuel and oil caps, bottom of the saw, all look fine.
8) Looks like the original bucking spike on it.
Negatives:
1) Air filter cover, and top cover, have a crack. (Pointing to it in the pictures).
2) Clutch cover is cracked on the side.
3) Recoil starter housing has a crack in the lower front portion.
4) Front of crankcase has a crack, but it is on the front of a mounting flange. It is not near the sealed part of the crankcase, fuel tank, or oil tank. The crack is right underneath the ignition module, and of course the starter cover mounts over it all. Looks ugly but should not effect the operation of the saw.
5) Muffler bolts both broke off. Either drill and tap to oversize, or heli-coil. I saw these would be stubborn so I soaked them in penetrating oil overnight, then tapped on the bolt heads, then kept loosening and tightening about 1/100th of a turn over and over, back and forth. Seemed to be working, but no success. Had no access to my 3/8 or 1/2 impact driver's.
6) Cushion on top handle has a couple small spots where the cushion is worn through, nothing terrible though.
I might consider trading for McCulloch Super Pro stuff, or selling outright. If you have any trade offers or further questions, go ahead and private message me.
