My SP 81 is here and it's all I thought she would be! After giving it a quick test run I really want to get the last minor details on my 5-10 and 10-10 buttoned up so I can run the against each other.

You'll really like the SP81,I know I was impressed with mine when I ran it the 1st time.

As for the 5-10 running against the 10-10 there should be no copntest, the 5-10 should win hands down against your 10-10,the reason being you have 70cc against 54cc.

Hello all. I'm new here, I have just a few. Would like more of the 80cc plus versions. I am In dire need of a 1-50 decal if anyone wants to sell one. I put a 1-41 on it from Sugar creek as it was the same shape decal. But it really drives me nuts. lol

just posted this in the you suck thread. Went out to buy something else came back with this. Came with a free SS hose clamp.
Almost passed on it as it would not fire off on prime. Pulled plug, had good fire. Dried plug and gave it another try still nothing. Not wanting to give up I wound the rope back around pulley and pulled it using my monkey arms and it ran. He offered to drop it 20 bucks, $80 ok deal done. Gave the 20 back for a sandcast Poulan 41.

Seems like the super 250 pulls over too easy for an 87cc saw. Hope to pop off the muffler later and have a look. With the serial number starting 12, acres site suggest its 87 cc. If that's not right let me know. Definitely needs fuel cap, recoil cover, and top cover. Did this saw come with that type of bar....says pro mac.

I learned something new today,as we're all learning about these saws everyday.I got a couple bars from a member here & I thought I was going to get 2 D176 bars.As it turned out,I got a D176 & a D076.I did some research & found that the D076 was a precursor to the D176.The bar will fit the 10 series saws without a problem.I've read on Acres' site that there was the D176 & a D276.I've seen plenty of D176 bars, but I have yet to see my first D276 bar.I'm sure that if I go through my stash of bars that I'll find another D076.

The tag (along with a few other features) would indicate a Super 250 at 87cc's. And it should indeed feel like a stout 87cc's. Mine sure does. Unless there's scoring, the rings are shot, or something else is causing loss of compression, it should be fairly formidable to pull over.

A 276? Never heard of it. The 14 link bar is what some of my medium remingtons take. But that's the precursor to 096 now it's 196. But here is what I found out

This. You don't ask it to pull over, you tell it.
Although I tried that on my Partner 440 (99cc) once not realizing that the decomp had sealed and almost yanked it out of my hands. 😄

My 88cc remington pulls about the same as my cs 590 if memory serves me right. Bit I haven't started the echo in months
Update on the little 3516 that came with my new pm 700. New lines all around , primer from a parts 3200, air filter, oil line, straightened one real messed up chain tensioner bolt ( pic coming) carb kit,
“ modified” the limiters so it could be tuned. After the “modification “ I was able to open the low that much needed 1/8 more turn and whadayano!! It runs!!!
Not as snappy as I like yet but pretty good for an elcheapo. I got called in for supper. Hope to put it in wood tomorrow.

I've had three super 250's and a couple of 660's and none that I had were anywhere near hard to pull over. All five ran strong, had good pistons & rings, and cut well.
