Nice looking 2 man popped up on ebay. Comes with 36" b and c. Looks complete but I'm no mac specialist if anyone looking for a parts saw or project.

Nice , I have a MCC 28" for it or a couple hard nose bars. If I was to buy a new bar who makes a good sturdy 28- 32" ?
Well as Woodslasher mentioned you could pick up a bar adapter and run a new Stihl bar. Or you could get a new Oregon bar(D176 mount). I picked up a new 28" Oregon bar for a PM805 maybe 2 years ago for around $85 I think. Best bang for your buck without sacrificing too much in the way of quality in my opinion.

!'ll bite, so what's a CAD victom?
CAD stood for Chainsaw Acquisition Disorder in my particular case. Bought nearly every Mac listed on CL in my area at the time..., back before everyone discovered em. Never have been cured. Just got wiser. Plus there's the ran out of money for such things part. LOL

Have at it fellas.

As other members have said, Oregon isn't bad but a good Windsor (what's on my SP81) or Stihl bar is pretty good too. @jacob j said that the old oregon bars with the 3-rivet tips are nearly indestructible, so there's those as well.

I've got a couple of those 3 rivet tip bars. There not bad but 1 thing I will say is the tips get bent easily. Still a good bar and seem to be better steel than newer stuff 20210106_174506.jpg

I've never run a stihl bar but the D009 husky bars are very easy to convert and are down at your local saw shop

This bar floats around a bit lol 20210505_123310.jpg
Think the paint stripped off the tip looks better

anyone know what nuts and bolts mcchulloch used to hold the dogs on? i need sone for my 2 saws.
You can measure the recessed bolt locations on the inside of the covers, fyi. Or, you could find the ipl’ s for the saws and use those, and they will come in handy for more than just sizing hardware.
