Just a couple of pictures of milling some really nice MonkeyPod slabs. The one really big log was 56" wide on the biggest slab. and they others were just really pretty. I’m completely unfamiliar with that species, but it looks gorgeous! Really pretty colors and pattern, especially around that big union.
 
buzz sawyer, when its really green and fresh cut, yes it will twist and potato chip when drying, i have been stacking these with stickers that are only 3/8 thick and keeping them wrapped in shade cloth and keep them banded down real tight with a couple of good straight 4x4s on top and bottom to help that. it seems to have been working.
