Anyone had any experience milling Pecan?
The tree in question is about 20" DBH, we topped it the other day & will drop the barrel sometime in the not too distant future.
Not milled Pecan before & wondering if there's any quirks to it, what the wood is best suited for, best way to mill it (¼ cut/slab), how it seasons, how valuable it is (ie, at what size do I stop milling & start making firewood)...
