Little irritated by “cool kids” remarks. Seems any information based forum is the same these days. I’m a member of several and I’ve always tried to help the new guys without trying to belittle whatever they’ve asked. I’m old enough to expect it but sometimes it gets old, older than the questions that are asked over and over.

If facts are belittling I can't help it. If you don't forget to put oil in your gasoline it will be fine. Don't make much of a crap what it is if it was made for air cooled 2 cycles.

Now, guys who run a saw all day most days it is a different story.

But, just exactly how many of those are on this forum ? The 5%.

927 is a good oil for really high strung applications of which a chainsaw is not, even ported. 800 is good stuff, but I think for a saw there are better choices. I don't care for H1R at all, especially in a saw.

Facts are fine, the 5% is who I was looking for, your point?
