For sale is great running Stihl saw. The cylinder has been ported for performance wood cutting. Its very enjoyable to cut with it absolutely HAMMERS!! It makes a load of torque. We do this madness to get our name out there and to support ourselves in the lumberjack sports industry. This saw is a hybrid saw, meaning it has a pop up piston. Also, the base of the cylinder has been cut down for more compression. It is a factory piston that was turned in the lathe. It makes 180 psi on the gauge. The exhaust port has been raised and the intake port has been slightly lowered. And the transfer ports have been raised to compensate for the cut base and a modified piston. In my opinion the 460 responds the the best to a little work, second to the the husky 359. The piston and cylinder are factory oem and in great shape making great compression. It will come with a NEW 20 inch bar. All of the features work as they should including chain brake, kill switch, oil pump, and choke. We are very good about responding to customers. Please zoom in and look at the pictures carefully. Who ever gets this saw will not be disappointed. Feel free to ask any questions I am happy to answer them.

What see is what you get. No smoke and mirrors. Thank for your business. We do appreciate it!! If for some reason you do not like the saw just contact us. We are very good about getting back to people. If you need a picture of something specific just ask.

This saws will come broken in but, It should be run easy for the first two tanks of fuel. It runs great on 50 to 1 mix with quality oil. Non ethanol fuel is recommended but not necessary but it will give the saw a little more go.

I am asking $850 plus shipping. It's normally around $25 to ship but I am in CT for a reference.

Thank You

I have 2 questions, how did you lower the intake? And what method of machining did you use to deck the cylinder?View attachment 958260
The intake port is lowered to increase the timing. My friends does the work on a rotary table I believe. But that roughness is from me. I lap the surfaces with 100grit so the sealant will bite.

Cheers

Ok I saw the finish and was wondering about it? I take it thats for a base gasket delete?
Usually any intake modifications will involve epoxy, do you know if there's any used in this cylinder?
This still has the gasket. But it definitely helps when you decide to delete it . There is no epoxy. The intake is only lowered about 0.080". So its not crazy.

Intake can be lowered by a few methods, grinding it lower, cutting the band.and base, simply removing the base gasket, no epoxy needed to lower it, it's raising it that sometimes requires epoxy, really depends on your abilities, models and the numbers your trying to achieve.
