Hi gents,

I wanted to start a thread where others can share their home made chainsaw repair tools. I had some fun modifying an spare 11mm socket that will press in an oil pump oil seal. It needed two recesses to fit over a wrist pin to the contact and seat the seal and to be deepened with a step drill to make room for the shaft it goes on. The wrist pin is there to be spun by the crank to actuate the oiler.
Nothing overly exciting, but seeing as no one else really cares about my chainsaw endeavours, the forum is my outlet!
I’d love to see any of the tools you’ve modified / made to do a job and hear more about them.
