I've got a 2007 Morbark Tornado 15 chipper with the Cat 130 hp engine. The chipper has a hydraulic controlled yoke so that you can open up the feed wheels to clear obstructions.

The chipper is well maintained and cared for.

Recently, I noticed that its like t feed wheels have no down pressure. When you put a branch in that requires a little more pulling, the feed wheels just spin on the branch and don't pull it in.

This just seemed to occur overnight because generally, this thing is an animal.

The hydraulic control that opens the feed wheels works like it always has.

The manual refers to a down pressure relief valve, but doesn't give any indication as to where it is or what you might do to check it out once you find it.

Any troubleshooting ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Could be a leaking hydraulic cylinder internally, the control valve that operates the yoke cylinder should have a relief valve inside.
