I had to cut a lighting struck pine today and noticed that the chain had worn slightly uneven on one side when sharpening (Stihl 2 in 1). I typically rotate the bar every sharpening and rotate 3 chains in and out and haven't seen uneven wear before. I checked for oil sling off and got nothing on paper. I've run the oiler wide open since new and have always had good oiling. I went to adjust the oiler and the adjustment screw now turns freely both directions, but doesn't stop and I wasn't able to get any sling off or visible increase in oil. The oil tank still appears to be consuming oil at about the same rate as normal. The oil holes on the bar are also clear. The pin/screw to the side of the actual adjustment screw also turns freely. I hope this makes sense Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
