Power company contractor came out today and pieced it out with bucket truck. Their rigging method seemed odd and got all tangled on itself. Basically instead of tying the rope to the branch they were cutting, they looped it on the branch then back to the line. The whole way down it kept getting snagged and looked like it was about to dump the branch on my trailer, see photo. They still got it done and I avoided some hazardous work, so all is good. Notice the rot at bottom of stump.
