New 038

My wife just bought me a new 038 MAG for our 23rd anniversary!
And on the weekend when I should be helping her around the house she tells me to go play in the wood pile. You gotta love
a woman like that! What do the members use to hold a chain for
filing? I do not like filing on the bar so I made a chain vise that I can use in the basement and not have to bring the saw in the house.

G'day deadtrees,

With a wife like that Im sure she would be happy to set a place at the table for that saw!
I tend to leave the chain on for sharpening. I have a stump vise for in the field, if I can be bothered going and getting it (around 50% of the time!!).
I too have an 038 Mag. Just wait till youve had a few tanks of gas through her and she loosens up a bit. She really starts screaming! I am talking about the saw you realise!! lol.
