Partner p55 hard to tune

Hi, I am working on said saw. I soaked and rebuilt carb and did all the usual things. I have it running ok but not great. Idle wanders then stalls out. It also has a big ole flat spot I can't get rid of. It is a Tilly hs nd the only thing I didn't do was set metering level height. I'm thinking seals. Any thoughts?

I'd set the metering lever first, just 'cause it's easy to do.

So I messed with the metering lever and now the saw won't even start. I really don't think it's the carb as I sprayed and soaked it in berrymans. I think I am going to pull it apart for seals and maybe rings. Anybody have part #'s and a source for this saw!

Do you have the Walbro tool for setting metering lever height?

I’d definitely do a pressure test on the carburetor and crankcase, even if it’s just with a primer bulb and some extra fuel line.

I don't have the tool but the IPL is pretty clear flush w the c body. Now won't start. Other partners I have worked on were easy runners.

P70 I have was like that. Ran OK but not quite right. New crank seals and Meteor piston kit solved the problem.

Hi, so I got the part # 275715 from the diagram. I can't find these seals anywhere on the net. I doubt the local supply houses will have them either. Suggestions?

Kept looking. I see k650 cutoff saws seals may work..?
