Upgraded a pioneer p26 with a walbro wa carb from a Husqvarna 50. Very easy to do, you just have to swap out the parts in the picture, and it will bolt right up. The stock Tillotson has a 90° fuel barb, but the straight one on the Walbro hasn't given me grief yet, the option is always there to swap it out if it does. Needle adjustments we're almost identical to the Husqvarna 50 that it came off of.
Runs quite a bit better even at idle, and of course the option of fine-tuning the high speed is a plus. It also doesn't hurt that it seems to be a lot easier to find carb kits for the Walbro wa.
You can do this with many of the pioneer saws in that series.IMG_20210512_164625.jpgIMG_20210512_172714.jpgIMG_20210512_164733.jpg

Good to know. My P26 and a 1073 both need a carb rebuild, this might be a good option. The high speed adjustment would be a plus. Is the fuel line kinked at all with the straight fuel barb on the Walbro ? Hard to tell in the picture.
