Posting pic's and videos

Can someone please help me out. I have been trying to upload pic's and videos to this site
and all i get is the video is to large. A 20 or 30 second video is to large? I see folks putting
videos on this site that are 30 minutes. What the hell am i doing wrong. I'm using my phone
Apple I phone 11 pro.
