Im looking a purchasing the small alaska mill. I will be milling small 12 to 16 inch maple. I have a husk 365 and a 372 will these be fine for milling the small stuff. ps green maple not dried thanks

I have used my Husky 365 on my csm with a 36" bar in 28" wide oak. Sure it worked, but I had to go REAL slow, and it was pouring its little heart out trying to keep up. 16 inch maple? Will work, but you are really working that saw hard. Unless you are only slicing up an occasional log or two and are willing to really take your time, better upgrade to a real milling saw. I now use a 395XP for my milling and never looked back.

here ya go bookerdog, think of somebody putting a lawnmower engine in a car, and then trying to run down the interstate with it. Thats a 365 with a big bar on a csm
