I picked up a F250 the other day, the 8' box is coming off it tomorrow and I purchased a used flatbed dump bed, it has wood sides like a rack body and a lift gate. I haven't really looked at how the lift gate works with the dump but it's there. My first thought is to get rid of the lift gate and either go without a tailgate or build one later on. Now that I am thinking about it it almost makes sense to leave the liftgate. What do you guys think? I'm sure it will be handy but it's a bit heavy. diamond plate steel. I'll have some pics once it gets delivered.
