I have a 24" Husqvarna chainsaw bar with number 608 00 01 94 theres also another number stamped into it 23406, just wondering how to read these numbers, Im trying to figure out if this bar is an .050mm or an .058mm....thanks...Lee

That would be a 24" 3/8 .050ga 84dl bar. There should be more numbers on the bar that give that information. The part number doesn't signify anything.

Information like this:

Notice the 92770 TQ - it doesn't have any significance to the bar specs.

GB bars w/- Husqvarna part numbers

Those particular bars were manufactured by GB Australia for Husqvarna.

If I remember right, Husqvarna bought up a bunch of them during a hurricane season a few years ago.

They never seemed to have anything much more than the Husqvarna part number stamped into them. (the 608 00... #)

If there was another number on them, it never meant anything to us. Always bugged me they didn't take the time to stamp the pitch/gauge/drive links info on them.

608 00 01-92 3/8" pitch, 20", .050" gauge, 72 drivers

608 00 01-93 3/8" pitch, 20", .058" gauge, 72 drivers

608 00 01-94 3/8" pitch, 24", .050" gauge, 84 drivers

608 00 01-97 3/8" pitch, 24", .058" gauge, 84 drivers

608 00 01-95 3/8" pitch, 28", .050" gauge, 93 drivers

608 00 01-98 3/8" pitch, 28", .058" gauge, 93 drivers

608 00 01-96 were the replacement bar tips for these bars. (this is the only one of these part numbers still available as of 12/2011)
