@Maintenance supervisor I don't think I have enough thumb to manual oil that bar

Got this one in.
I just messaged the guy about that saw. That 660 probably rips lol for some reason I think I read that there faster rpm than the super 754 in direct drive.
That full wrap is sick!!! Probably helps with felling monster trees. I have a couple big oaks 28-36" picked out for firewood at our property. I am going to try and do most of the big cutting with my remington collection. A tank of gas doesn't go to far on those
Not sure I ever heard of a fast Remington. Where did you read that detail about the 660?
on Mike acres says 7500 rpm for 660 and 6000 for the 754. Not sure how accurate that is. I may have some Remington literature I collected that may have some info as well to possibly verify
I take those numbers with a grain of salt.

Everytime I see an alert for the elusive Remy 880 my heart dang near skips a beat, it's always a clutch drum though

That seems like a good price.
Yea no doubt might be as close as I can get to a super 880
I will have the carb, just need a parts saw to complete the rest of the project

The saw pictured is a gear drive. Whatever engine rpm I listed in my web page came from factory literature or owners manuals, service manuals. The wrap around handlebars were standard as those saws were meant to be used on large timber.That full wrap is sick!!! Probably helps with felling monster trees. The PL-4 is the same size engine as a Super XL-12 Homelite so that long a bar is for visual use only.

Someone has put a stack exhaust on that saw which is not stock. They had a proper muffler with baffle.For the thread fellas
