Bought this one from an auction and it started right up and ran for a few mins. and sounded like carb needed adjusted, so while in the process of doing that it just died never to fire again! lol! Anyway I hung the old spark tester on the plug and nuttin! --- guess it has a dead ignition module. It also came with a can of that pre-mix crap in the case. Looks like they might have only used 1 tank out of it. Saw looks new and thats what I cant figure out! Why would the ignition die? -----maybe from sitting in the case for a long time??? Anyway for the price I just HAD to buy the orphan since nobody else would put a bid on it! lol!
Anybody have/had one of these???

I'd check the switch first, the craftsman version I have had a finicky switch that wouldn't allow spark because tiny bit of plastic was floating around. If the coil is bad you can get them for less than 20$ on ebay or Amazon, just a coil for a 52cc Chinese saw.
