Solo 603 substitute piston that works!

I accidentally posted this in trading post so here it is here…..

Thanks to Jacob J, my solo 603 can throw chips again. Just wanted to give props to him for his suggestion and let anyone out there who is looking for a substitute piston know that it works. I used an aftermarket Partner 1200k piston and she runs great. Well I haven’t had the chance to tube it in wood yet but I did order a 42” bar and chain so It runs good enough to know I’ll need it! Thanks again man.

It is handy when someone else is already in "the know" , saves you having to research things like wrist pin diameters and crown to pin distances via technical data sheets or something.
