I just had a stihl 012av given to me because the crankshaft is broken at the flywheel threads. I've been looking around online and Im getting the idea that parts are not going to be easy to find. Anybody have access to a pdf file for a service manual or know of a good place to find parts?

Thx. for your patience. This is what I have, both 011's. They are 38mm bores with 36mm strokes. The 012 is a 40mm bore with the same 36mm stroke. The parts saw has a nice p&c , crank, clutch and what is shown. The other saw has good comp. and pops on a fuel shot. Chain brake works, oiler supposedly works, and would probably need fuel system gone through. Should clean up for a nice little saw. If interested PM me and we can work something out if you are serious about it. Thx. TLG

So you're saying that I can take a 011 crankcase and slap all my stuff onto it from the 012 and everything should work? If you have a crankcase that's in decent shape and the bearings are still good, how much would you want for?
