Stihl 025 air filter

Just purchased a used cover, and it doesn't seem to fit properly with the filter in place. With filter removed fits fine. We're there different filter holders for the 025 than those found on the ms250?

The 025 had a flat top. MS series are rounded.
So it really shouldn’t fit at all.
Don’t recall any differences in the intake of the 025 an MS.

An older cover has some fins on the inside that hit the newer style air filters and needs trimmed.
