Hi Folks.
Just picked up a pretty solid 056 super. Saw runs and has about 125 pounds of compression. My plan is to completely go through the saw, get the compression back up and have a great, strong 056 super to have on hand when I want it.
When I go this far with a saw I replace the cranks bearings since I’m there because it’s usually about thirty or fourty bucks.
I find it strange that there are aftermarket parts, including pistons and cylinders for this saw but I can’t find crank bearings.

If you can direct me to something either OEM or aftermarket, or a work-around I’d appreciate it.
Thanks.
Rob.

Ebay has one OEM late type (nylon plastic ball carrier) for the clutch side bearing listed...not a sponsor nor recommend the seller.

Have not seen any aftermarket nor work arounds for the clutch side.

The left side (flywheel) is a standard sized #6004 bearing, but the right side (clutch) is Stihl proprietary & has not been made for years now.

Look up the IPL (parts breakdown) for the part numbers.
