Folks, selling one of my personal saws. I don't really want to get rid of it but circumstances dictate that I part with a few of my saws. I picked this up about 7 years ago in rough shape. I restored it a few years back using Stihl paint and Cerakote matte clear coat. I installed new old stock crank bearings and oil seals and swapped the crank for a really good one. Early last year I swapped the super p & c for a mag II 56mm p & c. I slightly widened the intake and exhaust, chamfered and deglazed the bore and polished the exhaust. Muffler has been modded, I've never been a fan of the 056/045 muffler blowing past the clutch cover so I welded shut the original port and put a small pipe on the front. Muffler also has a nos dual port cover. 056 badge is nos, tillotson carb is nos, clutch cover is nos as are all the av mounts. Clutch has new springs and needle bearing. Currently is wearing a new 8 pin .404 sprocket. Full wrap handle is in really nice shape. Like you would expect I had to repair the ground wire to the coil which had been severed. Has a good oem Bosch coil. Starter has been fully refurbished with all new parts and Elastostart handle. Which is a must have since this saw has some really good compression! Bar stud holes had previously been stripped, I repaired them with threaded inserts and put in new studs. Has a new 32" .404 .063 Oregon bar and new full skip square ground chain. I made test cuts with the new bar and chain and that's it. Piston has new oem rings and pin bearing with maybe 1 tank run on them. Piston is oem and does have some wear. Piston to Cylinder wall clearance was .006 which isn't real great but it was the best oem piston I could get my hands on. This saw runs great and is a real powerhouse. I used it to mill some before I put the new bar and chain on. It previously would hiccup after running for a bit but I yanked the carb the other day and gave it a good cleaning as it had a bunch of crud packed into it. It runs without issue now, doesn't hiccup or stall and runs a lot smoother! I'm asking $650 shipped to your door. I'm also willing to swap the sprocket to 3/8 if wanted, and can sell the saw pho for $600 if desired. I've just put a lot of time into this and I've really enjoyed using it. Time for someone else to have fun with it! I'll post a video and compression reading later tonight. Thanks

Good point. Sorry folks I got a little sidetracked but did pull the carb the other day. It had a bunch of crud packed into the mesh filtering screen and so I gave it a good cleaning. Saw runs without issue now and runs much smoother. Had to adjust the tune a little as well. Also I will be installing a new pull cord tonight! Guess why!
