Stihl 066 parts

I'm working on an 066 that is missing everything mounted to the handle/fuel tank (carb housing/air filter/cover). Are there different carb housings on the older 066's vs. newer or MS660s?

Yes- the older flat top 066's had a different style and shape of air box, filter mounting system than the later decomp cylinder 066/MS660.

660 tank is wider than an 066.
This makes the filter base wider.
You can fit all the 660 gear (tank and filter) just won't line up with 066 engine cover.
