Not sure I believe the consensus is that the intake iced up. It also could have been my fuel. The dealer said he drained the tank and put his gas in it. It sat in the shop overnight and the next day he could not get it to do it

Well, hopefully that is it and the problem is gone for good. Personally I can't see myself cutting in such cold weather. Last year I did help a friend of a friend cut up and haul away a giant Ponderosa that fell near the home during a major wind storm. I had forgotten to switch the winter/summer plate, yet the saw ran fine. Yet it did remind me that cutting during sub freezing temps is not at all enjoyable.
