STIHL AV41 TO SUPER SWAP

Im sure this has been discussed but i could not find direct links to it. So i would like to convert my Stihl 041 av into a 041 super. I know the super uses the longer studs, 48mm cylinder/piston kit, and a different carb. My question is has anyone ever done the swap and what all was needed that i didn't list? Is the carb linkage the same? Will the ignition on the 041av work for the super? If anyone cares to help me out with any info i would be very appreciative. Thanks in advance

I put an 041 Super cylinder and piston in a 041 farm Boss, never changed anything but cylinder and piston.

Did it make the saw more powerful without the upgraded carb and ignition?

It did a bit but still an old slower saw.

Those 041 supers cut good though. The super uses studs to hold the cylinder down. Only difference I believe.
