Hello im just about done with a 211c that i dropped and had a big limb fall on. I got all the parts swapped and went bar shopping. The two dealers i stoped at didn't have a bar. The one had a Oregon bar and said it would match up so i said sure being a saw novice. Well the bar is not same i tried using the new bar with a stihl chain and it wouldn't work the chain was to short. So i looked and the bars are different but the chain size on the bars are the same. So im kinda confused.

Nevermind im an idiot and figured it out. Dont work on saws with a severe lack of sleep.
Join the club. In one of my first posts I mindlessly used "cylinder" when I meant "piston." My sanity was understandably questioned when I asked about the cylinder moving up and down.
