I have a Stihl MS201t that I'm working on for customer not really familiar with Stihl chainsaws Being that I worked for a husqvarna dealership. So I found up and down play in the crank and or bearings and enough play for the flywheel to hit recoil. So I don't know exactly where my failure is and I want to know and have to know that's just how I've always done it if I don't know exactly what the failure is how could I fix it I just throw parts at it at that point right so my question is is does anyone know where I could get the specifications on the crank and the bearings on this saw so I can measure the crank to see where I have metal loss the crank doesn't look scored or hot it doesn't have heat spots so I'm kind of baffled as to why I have to play in what failed any information and help would be much appreciated.

The saw uses roller brgs. You will see axial movement. A small amount.
You should only feel only a trace of radial play.
There’s no shims used in the bottom end.
There is no spec for the wear tolerances in the repair instructions.
