Still messing with my Mini-Mac

Several different settings for the needle valve height appear on the interweb .
Can anyone tell me how to set the height of the lever arm on an MDC carb ?
I have the saw running perfectly until it's tipped even a few degrees off - level . After being tipped , fuel will pour out of the muffler.

Nevermind , I found a thread on here that the lever tip should sit flush with the carb surface WITHOUT using the gasket as I have read around the internet.
