As the title says, I'm a suckers for old top handle saws. I recently picked up a very solid feeling Craftsman that needs a handle (& maybe more), but the model # & serial numbers are too worn to make out.
Any help you folks could give me I'd be much obliged!

Definitely a Roper Co. saw but not sure of model. Looks as if you could drop that out of a tree and it would still be running when you got back down to get it. The saw is actually a nice looking piece. I've never seen one of those only the 3.7 marketed through Craftsman.

eBay has parts if you search craftsman roper chainsaw, but 3.7 was used on other manufacturers like poulan, for craftsman
