picked up bargain, i been looking for a better fishing yak and this popped up 2019 hardly used heaps of gear plus 2 hobie mirage drives.

reckon i could sell it tomoz for grand more than paid today but it will serve me well for a few years

wanted to move 500kg of 5 m log 200 meters ?? strapped a bit of tin sheet under and bobcat dragged it sliding easy no harm to turf

things went to plan but i still got a dip up to me waist when precut the old rotten pier top deck to lift it away, my pre cut to support beam was just a tad to much for me to get back to shore,,, splash... I used my least liked saw but it dint get a swim..
I had pondered doing out of kayak or just wade in but what the hell...

Helped sail me mates new toy 40 foot yacht back from Geelong to Brighton yesterday.
Only glitch the motor would not start at dock,,, huh says owner?? then he remembers was tooling around in engine bay few dayz prior and had pulled off a wire.. After that easy run a pod of dolphins for company

plonking on me TL 125 trails in the morning Yak fishing in the afternoon

Wind & chop so took the yak out to test its & my abilities. went well very stable easy pedaling into and downwind swells.

I bumped into this mob going past joined in https://www.charitypaddle.com.au/ we got a coast guard escort for the mayoral flotilla

Hint, beach landing in tipping breakers tie on the $600 Mirage pedal drive it sinks ,, i found it lucky me.

Got some single braid 12 strand 5/8 tennex and made up an ultra sling and loopie sling.
real easy to splice, but prefer doing the double braid splicing.

yeah, wifes knitting needles make great fids.

My vintaged **** is old aged lassys,, I found my one of me old bikes for sale im thinking about it but likey narrh them days might be behind me.. Seller wants $6500 & its on club reg i could go for sunny day scoot for $79 bucks a year soo hhmmm

My 1st calamari today,, mr squid grabbed a small flattie swimming on me line n hook as i tended to bite on other rod,, he quietly lifted came aboard let go the flattie & plopped into the yak. didn't even ink.





just had him for dinner nom nom

Gday,

Got pointed towards this thread. My Husqvarna 365 special fell out of boom lift and has broken case. Still works but case is broken around the back near choke.
I can source an OEM case for the repair.
Located in central Vic if anyone can reccomend someone who does good work.
